The ZSPKO-N-x50-0.7G-B/F-F is a T2 surge protector (surge arrester class C) for the 0 – 0.7 GHz band. It is designed to protect the coaxial inputs of receivers connected by coaxial cables to antennas installed outdoors and protected against direct lightning strikes (LPZ 0B, 0C) against the effects of overvoltage, which can be caused e.g. by the action of elmg. industrial interference or storms. The protection protects the receiver inputs even in the event of a direct lightning strike to the lightning arresting system of the protected object in accordance with the wording of IEC 61312-1. A prerequisite for the correct functioning of any surge protector is its precise electrical connection to the equipotential busbar (HOP) of the object (e.g. via the EP busbar or the PE protective conductor of the LV distribution system) with the shortest salted conductor with a minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm2.
