Model USBHUB4OEM is a four-port, high-speed, USB hub intended for OEM applications where space is at a premium and external packaging is not required. High ESD protection makes it suitable for use in electrically harsh environments. Full speed (480 Mbps) USB 2.0 support allows connectivity with modern computer technology. High retention USB ports on the upstream and downstream sides allow you to use standard off the shelf USB cables while being confident that they will not come loose during operation. When installed in your system, the USBHUB4OEM appears as an unbranded USB hub. The hub is powered entirely by the USB host port, leaving your installation uncluttered by power cabling. As a bus powered device, it provides 100 mA of power to downstream peripherals which is adequate for most applications. Important: check your device to be sure this power is adequate. If it needs more power, B B SmartWorx has a variety of externally powered hubs to select from.
